Center Setting
In the center of this ring, a round brilliant cut diamond rises up from the inner band in a four prong white gold setting. The prongs originate at the same point, and they dramatically branch out away from each other on their way up to meet the edges of the center stone. The prongs are square and flat on top, which contrasts subtly with the perfectly round diamond they cradle.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Round bright cut set diamonds run down both shank shoulders, with four on each side. At the end of these rows, a single round diamond is bezel set and lined with milgrain beading, adding an echo of the round center to each side of the band. The milgrain beading continues along the bright cut set diamond accents, as well as down towards the bottom of the ring, providing a satisfying continuity to the design.
Band Design and Hand Engraving
The band is square and straight all the way around, with the exception of the spot where the bezel set diamond sits on each side. The bezel setting is slightly wider than the band, adding a small curve to each side at those spots only. Antique Engagement Rings
Below the diamond accents, the top and fronts of the band are covered with elegant hand engraving in a scroll pattern, and this continues up to the main setting on the right fronts as well. The milgrain beading frames the hand engraving nicely, and the combination of the two brings a lovely vintage flair to the design.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
