Ideal Square Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a 0.79 carat Ideal Square diamond, and it’s prong set in 14k white gold. The prongs holding it rise up from the base of the cathedral shank, with the main portions of the band coming up to meet the diamond in the middle on either side. Diamond Engagement Rings
The Ideal Square cut describes a stone that has been shaped to ideal proportions in order to maximize its brilliance. The 80 facets in this type of diamond are precisely placed to create the distinctive Hearts and Arrows pattern that only these stones contain. Because they're so carefully shaped, Ideal Square diamonds take nearly three times longer than the average to cut, but the increase in light reflection over a standard square cut is dramatic.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
A beautiful scroll pattern is hand-engraved along the top of the band all the way around. The fronts are left smooth, however, which helps highlight the delicate pattern further. Milgrain beading lines the hand-engraved portion, providing a lovely frame and a bit of vintage flair as well. As a finishing touch, a complementary scroll design is formed from hand-made filigree directly below the center diamond on both fronts to complete the look and give the ring a nice balance.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
