Center Diamond and Halo
The largest gemstone in this ring is a 2.02 carat cushion cut yellow diamond, and it’s prong set in 14k yellow gold. The prongs curl up over the rounded corners of the stone, mostly blending in while simultaneously helping to highlight the beautiful lines of the cut. Diamond Engagement Rings
Twenty-four small round white diamonds are split prong set in platinum and arranged into a halo that surrounds the large yellow diamond. These stones together total 0.16 carats, but their relatively small size does nothing to diminish the visual impact they have on this design. The brilliant white sparkle of these diamonds contrasts beautifully with the striking yellow of the stone at the top, and that relationship is only enhanced by the respective colors of the metals each type of stone is set in.
Customization Options
Customizing this ring could involve any number of things, from mixing up the types of metals used, to choosing a different kind or color of gemstone for the center. You could even experiment with a different shape for the center stone, with princess cut, oval and round all excellent options in this regard. Any of these seemingly small modifications would have a profound impact on the overall visual presentation of the design while still allowing you to keep the basic outline of the piece intact.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
