You can begin the customization process by visiting our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, or by reaching out to our team online. We take the time to learn as much as possible about your style and feature preferences, as well as your specific vision for your design. We use that information to create a CAD model of your unique piece, and you can review these images in the online workroom we set up to manage your project.
Peridot Solitaire
The lone gemstone in this ring is a 1.36 carat round peridot with a checkerboard cut that covers its top surface with a pattern of squares. These appear lighter or darker depending on the angle they’re viewed from, and that adds to the color dynamic already at play between the green of the stone and the silvery shine of the metal.
The solitaire style is a classic one, while the use of the peridot gives the design a unique feel. This can be used as an engagement ring or as a gift to mark any number of other special occasions in your relationship or in the life of a loved one. Fashion Rings
Filigree and Milgrain
Below the peridot, a basket made of filigree wraps around the fronts of the ring, and this provides openings for light to reach the bottom of the stone while also adding an intricate element to the design. The angular pattern of the filigree is highlighted by the lines of milgrain beading that run along its margins, and this milgrain is also found on the top of the bezel setting holding the peridot.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
