Custom Aquamarine And Diamond Fashion Ring
Item #102859Fashion Ring Description
She wanted us to take the center stone from this ring and build a new piece around it. The type of design she liked was very similar to an existing ring she found on our website, engagement ring #102263, but she added a few modifications of her own on top of those necessary to accommodate her much larger center stone.
Center Setting
The 4.47 carat aquamarine at the center of this ring is set lengthwise across the top, with four prongs made of 14k white gold curling up over the truncated corners, which are a hallmark of the emerald cut. The delicate blue color of the aquamarine stands out thanks to the contrast with the sparkling white of the gold and diamonds surrounding it, making for an even more impressive display.
On either side of the center stone, a single baguette diamond is prong set, and this is followed by a flush set trillion diamond. These are lined with split prong set diamond accents, which extend from the point of the trillion diamond on either side all the way up and around the center aquamarine. This arrangement essentially creates a modified halo, which adds some antique flair to the design while also helping to intensify the shine of the aquamarine.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain Accents
The main setting connects to the shank shoulders just below the point of the trillion accent diamonds, and from there, the two strands separate slightly before coming back together close to the bottom of the band. Both of these strands are lined with bright cut set diamond accents past the mid-point on the band, and below the diamonds, custom hand engraving covers the remaining portion of the shank.
This hand engraving is also present on the fronts of the band all the way up to where it meets the main setting, and both these portions and the diamonds on the shank are lined with milgrain beading, which frames them beautifully. Design Your Own Ring

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
