Custom Five Stone And Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #102738 $9,228 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The ring was created for a client from Renton, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to begin the custom design process. On that visit, he found a ring he wanted to customize, and he then worked back and forth with our design team through the online workroom we set up to manage his project to make sure every detail was just right.
Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a 1.01 carat Asscher cut diamond sits in a four prong platinum setting. The prongs curl up over the clipped corners of the Asscher cut, simultaneously protecting the stone and highlighting its elegant shape. Diamond Engagement Rings
On either side of this center diamond, a baguette diamond is prong set lengthwise across the band, lining up perfectly with the inner margin of the prongs in the main setting. Following these baguettes are trillion diamonds that are oriented with one flat edge up against the baguettes and one corner pointing downward along the band.
Modified Halo and Diamond Accents
All five of these larger diamonds are surrounded by a modified halo of split prong set diamonds that follows their contours to create an overall marquise-like shape for the center setting. These diamonds bring a lovely sparkle to the piece, and they also facilitate the transition to the criss-cross split shank below.
Starting at the corner of the halo on either side, lines of bright cut set diamonds run down each strand of the split shank to below the mid-point on the band. They taper as well along with the strands they’re set in to perfectly fill the space available, and they bring a glamorous flair to the design. Vintage Engagement Rings Seattle
Band Design and Customization Options
The band is solid across the bottom, splitting about a quarter of the way up each side into two strands that curve out away from each other before coming back in to meet at the point of the halo on either side of the main setting. The strands also narrow as they near the top, creating a more delicate look and bringing a hint of contemporary flair to the ring.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
