Channel Set Blue Sapphires with Diamond Accents
The main feature of this ring is the assortment of round blue sapphires in a succession of larger to smaller. The stones’ sizes decrease towards the bottom. The band appears to split from halfway to accommodate the sapphires in a channel setting. Open metal work embellishes the inner part of the ring imitating the circular shape of the stones. From each side the gemstones are lined up with a flow of diamond melees totaling approximately .30 ctw.
The blue sapphires contrast against the natural white tones of the diamonds, which gives a classic feel to this timeless combination. Whether you plan on gifting this ring or adding it to your collection of jewelry, you won’t go wrong.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
