Center Ruby
At the top of this ring, a 3.07 carat pear-shaped ruby is cradled in a talon prong setting made of 18k white gold. The rich red of the stone is highlighted beautifully by the way it contrasts with the silvery shine of the metal, and the use of talon prongs for the setting also complements the elegant shape of the stone nicely.
Diamond Halo
Immediately surrounding the ruby is a double halo of small, round diamonds that are pave set, and these diamonds add a glamorous sparkle while also providing a nice framing effect for the larger stone. This initial halo is itself encircled by a larger and more elaborate ring of diamonds, including 14 rose cut stones and numerous small, round diamonds. Halo Engagement Rings
This second halo extends out from the center setting in a manner reminiscent of flower petals, with the rose cut diamonds arranged in an alternating, overlapping pattern all the way around. Each of the rose cut diamonds in the top layer of this arrangement is framed by lines of bright cut set diamonds that taper to a point at the tips of the larger stones. This combination produces a spectacularly glamorous look, and the brilliant white of the diamonds serves to reinforce the lovely color of the ruby above. Fashion Rings

Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
