Description
This stylish men’s ring features two round diamonds flush set off to the side in a two-tone band, with a custom filigree plate on the interior. It was created for a couple from Issaquah, WA who wanted to have his wedding ring remade to mark a special milestone in their relationship.

We shared CAD images of their piece with them through the online workroom we set up for the project, and they then came in to inspect wax models of the design. We repeated this process a few times until they were sure the outline was just right, and at that point, we turned their project over to our expert artisans to begin production. Two-tone Band
The center portion of this ring is made from 14k yellow gold, and it’s bordered by narrow white gold rails all the way around. This gives the ring a nice two-tone look, introducing some contrast without overshadowing the rest of the design.
The band itself is squared but with rounded corners, and it’s flatter on the top than on the bottom. The center portion sits slightly above the rails, but there is no space between the two sections. This was one of the changes the client requested from an earlier version of the piece, as he was concerned that dirt would collect in the small crevices between the yellow and white gold.
Diamond Accents
Two round diamonds are flush set in a line across the yellow gold section of the band, and shallow grooves frame them on either side. These highlight the contrast between the two metals, and they add some sparkle to the ring as well. Our initial models had these diamonds quite a bit smaller, but after seeing the first wax model, the clients asked that we increase their size to improve the overall balance of the piece.
Filigree Plate
On the inside of the ring, a custom filigree plate runs underneath the top of the band. This features a Celtic-inspired pattern, and a Celtic cross sits right in the center. Because this is a detail that will only be seen when the ring isn’t being worn, it was a nice way for the clients to include something of personal significance that only they know about. A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
