Men's Wedding Band Description

This stylish men’s wedding ring features a brushed finish on the flat platinum band, with diamond and sapphire accents on the fronts. It was created for a client from Washington, for whom we also made an engagement ring and women’s wedding band. He pointed out pieces that he liked on our website, and using these as inspiration, we developed this unique design for him. Design Your Own Wedding Ring

Contrasting Finishes

The top surface of this ring is flat and 7mm wide. The brushed finish found there is in keeping with the understated nature of the design, and it creates a nice matte effect. The fronts of the ring are polished, though, and this contrast helps to highlight the lovely brushed texture on the top. It also adds some complexity to the design without making it flashy, and finding the right balance in this regard is often a challenge, particularly in the design of men’s wedding rings.

Diamond and Sapphire Accents

The fronts of the ring are flush set with small round diamonds and blue sapphires that alternate all the way around. There are three of each stones on each ring face, and since these are the same gemstones that are used in the women’s rings that complete this set, their inclusion here creates a subtle link among all three.

The use of a flush setting also keeps the gemstones from standing out too much, and their placement on the ring fronts lets them still show off their sparkle without overpowering the design. However, if you like the idea of adding a gemstone with special meaning to your piece but don’t want it on the outside of your ring, we can also set one on the inner part of the band where it will only be visible when you take off your ring.
