Description
This stylish men’s wedding ring features a line of round brilliant cut diamonds channel set in platinum, with contrasting finishes on the band. It was created for a client from Medina, WA, who found a ring that he liked on a visit to our Bellevue, WA showroom and asked us to make it to his specifications.

We coordinated with him primarily online throughout the custom design process to make sure our models perfectly captured the look he was after. Initially, he wasn’t sure whether he wanted to use white or black diamonds, and so we showed him examples of each. He also debated whether platinum or palladium would be a better look for him, and after evaluating his options, ultimately settled on the combination seen here.
Channel Set Diamonds
The 60 diamonds in this ring total 0.33 carats, and they’re channel set in a line that runs all the way around the band, slightly off of center. This gives the piece a classy contemporary look, and it divides the metal into two unequal sections. The shine of the diamonds complements the lovely silvery color of the platinum band nicely, offering just enough sparkle without overpowering the other design elements.
Contrasting Finishes
The thicker portion of the band features a brushed finish, while the narrower rail on the other side of the diamonds is polished to a high shine. This helps make the division between the two sections more clear, and it also brings a subtle complexity to the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
