This elegant wedding ring features an inscription in Hindi that runs all the way around the domed platinum band. It was created for a client from Honeoye Falls, NY to match the women’s wedding band we had previously made for him. Laser Engraving
The beautiful inscription that runs all the way around this ring was something the client picked out personally. It matches the inscription on his own wedding band, and he shared exactly what he wanted us to use as well as the font and spacing he preferred. With this information, we were able to use the laser engraver to create a precise rendering of what the client provided, and it came out perfectly.
Using an inscription or engraved pattern is a wonderful way to put your personal mark on such a special piece. Band Design
This band is 4mm wide and domed, with a comfort fit interior. The client wanted to make it as similar to his as possible while also making it comfortable for his wife to wear, and he was particularly concerned with the dome being as pronounced as possible. Because it was narrower than his ring, however, we needed to adjust this curvature slightly to make sure the engraving fit properly, which he understood and agreed to.
If you were interested in customizing this piece, you might want to begin by adjusting the width and shape of the dome. You could also use a different metal such as rose or yellow gold to add some warmth and classical flair to the design. Or you could integrate some small gemstones for a bit of extra sparkle if that's more inline with your tastes.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
