14k Yellow Gold And 18K Gold Custom Two-tone Men's Band
Item #1199 $5,013Men's Wedding Band Description
Two-tone Band Design
The band is 6mm wide and slightly domed on top. One half of it is made from platinum, while the other half is unplated white gold, and these two sections are divided by a channel that curves gradually back and forth as it makes its way around the ring. The soft curve of the top surface of the band combined with this gently undulating channel produce a vaguely organic effect, and the channel itself makes a nice separation between the two types of metal.
Contrasting Finishes
The top surface of both the platinum and white gold sections of the band are brushed, but the channel, which is also platinum, is polished to a high shine. This helps it stand out more clearly, and it also draws attention to the elegant, soft surfaces of the two metals on either side. Both ring fronts are also brushed, and this makes the shine of the channel as it snakes across the top surface of the ring that much more striking.Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this ring, you might start by experimenting with different combinations of finishes. Using a sandblasted finish in place of the brushed is one option that keeps the same general contrast but introduces a different type of matte effect. Another option would be to combine a hammered and brushed finish on either all of the top surface or just on one side of the channel to make a more dramatic statement in terms of the separation of sections.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
