Description
This elegant men’s wedding ring features several Claddagh and Celtic knot designs arranged around the recessed and antiqued inner band, which is bordered on both sides by polished rose gold rails. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who came to us with a clear idea of what he wanted for his ring. Band Design
The entire ring is 9mm wide, and it’s made of 14k rose gold. The widest portion of the band is the center section, which is recessed slightly. The Claddagh and Celtic knot designs that sit on each side of the ring are raised above this inner surface, which allows them to stand out while not protruding past the rose gold rails. Celtic Rings
Black Antiquing and Contrasting Finishes
Both the rails and the raised patterns are polished rose gold, and the recessed surface features black antiquing that really adds contrast and depth. This type of finish creates a black matte surface, and it’s best used in protected areas like the one in this piece, as it can rub off over time.
The addition of the black and the way it contrasts with the warm tones of the polished rose gold help to visually separate the various areas of the ring. It makes the intricate patterns that much more clear, and it brings a wonderful dramatic flair to the piece. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Customization Options
There are other types of finishes to consider if you’d like to customize this design. For instance, using a brushed finish on the rose gold areas would maintain the color contrast but extend the matte effect to all areas of the piece. Or you might decide to do away with the antiquing and instead use the brushed finish on the recessed band. This would produce a more subtle contrast, and it would also allow the lovely color of the rose gold to take center stage.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
