14k Yellow Gold Custom Brushed Diamond Men's Band
Item #102988 $5,927Men's Wedding Band Description
After reviewing the design details he provided, we clarified a few areas including what he wanted to use to get the black accents he was after. We then developed highly-detailed CAD renderings of the piece as we proposed to make it, and after requesting a few minor modifications to these, he gave his approval for us to move into production. Band Design
The band itself essentially consists of seven rectangular sections, with longer cross pieces dividing them. Between these cross pieces are the rails, which are grooved in addition to being plated with black rhodium for a stunning contrast and truly unique look. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
These rails don’t extend quite as far out as the cross pieces, however, and this gives the ring a notched profile on both sides. The entire band is made of platinum with a brushed finish, which creates a soft, matte surface.
Channel Set Diamonds
The 12 diamonds in this ring are all round and channel set. The client initially wanted 20 diamonds and one tanzanite, but he decided to stick with all diamonds.
He did still want to have one section stand out as primary, though, and so we angled this section across between the rails, while the rest of the diamond sections are inline with the band. The angled section contains one slightly larger diamond in the center as well, making its special place in the ring clear without overwhelming the design.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
