It was created for a client from Hobart, IN, who reached out to us online to learn about the process for customizing an inspiration piece he found on our website. We helped him work through the various options available to get the look he wanted, and he quickly approved our models so we could move his project into production.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is 9mm wide and all platinum. The client’s inspiration piece was a two-tone design made of platinum and rose gold, but he liked the look of a single metal better. A line of channel set diamonds runs all the way around the band, splitting the top surface into two sections of very different widths.
Diamonds also run all the way around the band on both ring fronts, bringing a wonderful surprise sparkle to the design. These diamonds are channel set as well, and the way they continue around the ring in an unbroken line make this an eternity band, which adds another layer of meaning to an already special piece. Contrasting Finishes
Although the client decided against an outright two-tone look, he did like the idea of differentiating between the rail and the main section on the top of the ring in some way. To this end, we suggested using two different finishes to provide a subtle contrast, and that’s the way he ultimately decided to go. We used a high polish finish on the rail and a light brush finish on the wider section to give it a softer, satiny look, and the contrast produced helps to bring out the different qualities of the metal while also highlighting the lovely sparkle of the diamonds.

Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
