14k Yellow Gold Custom Hand Engraved Men's Wedding Band
Item #102839 $4,801Men's Wedding Band Description
Although he could never visit our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, the online workroom we created to manage the project allowed us to share examples of engraving patterns, as well as the CAD models we created for both ring designs. After several exchanges, he approved the outlines we provided, and we turned things over to our expert artisans to begin production. Design Your Own Wedding Ring
Contrasting Finishes
The center section of this ring features a hammered finish, which creates a slightly organic, dimpled surface all the way around the band. On either side of this, the engraved sections are polished to a high shine, helping to highlight the intricate details of the pattern displayed. As a finishing touch, lines of milgrain beading run along both edges of the engraved sections, framing them beautifully and making clear the separation between the different design elements.
Hand Engraving
The clients wanted to use a similar engraved pattern on both of their rings to create a link between the two. As a result, the pattern used on this piece is based off of the one found on the companion women’s band. Due to the different dimensions of the space to be engraved on each, though, the designs are not identical.
This is just one example of the way you can use a shared feature to unite the rings in your custom wedding set. Whether you’d like to include a specific type of hand-engraved pattern like the one seen here, or you want to use some other type of feature to make the connection, our skilled artisans will turn your vision into a beautiful reality. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
