Flush Set Diamond
A single princess cut 0.06 carat diamond is flush set on the top of this band. It provides just enough sparkle to stand out without being flashy, and it sits at the intersection of the two polished grooves that cross the band. The longer of these grooves runs all the way around the ring just off of center, while the other crosses perpendicularly to make the shape of a cross at the top of the ring right where the diamond sits.
Contrasting Finishes
The longer groove divides the band into a thicker and thinner portion, both of which are brushed to create a nice matte surface. This contrasts perfectly with the high polish finish in the grooves, as well as with the sparkle of the diamond to help highlight the separations between the various features included in the design. If you’re interested in customizing this piece, you might want to consider using a different type of metal, as rose or yellow gold would add some warmth and a more classical feel.
