Description
This elegant men’s wedding ring features round black diamonds flush set around the outer rims with contrasting finishes on the palladium band. It was created for a client from Snohomish, WA, who ordered it as a surprise anniversary gift for her husband. She came into our Bellevue showroom to discuss the project in person, and we then continued to coordinate with her online to ensure everything was exactly as she wanted it. Flush Set Diamonds
There are 10 small round black diamonds flush set in the rails of this ring, and they are evenly spaced all the way around the band on each side. These bring a dramatic contrast to the piece, while their small size and the use of the flush setting keeps them from dominating the design. Having them flush set also keeps them protected from damage due to everyday wear, as it keeps them in line with the natural angles of the ring.
Contrasting Finishes
The body of this piece features two distinct sections. These are the middle band, which is wide and flat, with a brushed finish creating a nice matte effect. The rails angle slightly downward away from the center section, and this is where the diamonds are located. The change in angle denotes the separation of the sections, a division which is further enhanced by the use of a high polish on the rails to create a subtle but definite contrast.
Customization Options
There are many ways you can use this piece, or certain elements of it, to create your own unique design. For instance, the contrasting finishes can be worked into many different types of rings in a variety of ways, and there are other options available including sandblasted and hammered.
You could also take the basic shape of this ring and adjust the width or add a feature, such as custom hand engraving. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
