At the same time as we made this piece, we also made a matching women’s wedding ring. The simultaneous designing and production of these pieces allowed us to match features on the two exactly, which was just what the clients wanted. Matching Wedding Sets
Bright Cut Set Diamonds and Hand Engraving
There are 35 diamonds in this ring, and they’re all round and bright cut set. They extend from the middle of the band on one side to the same spot on the other, and they’re framed with milgrain beading to match the details on the women’s ring. The milgrain also adds some classical flair to the design, and it provides some balance to the piece as it extends down to frame the hand-engraved section as well.
Once the diamonds stop, the center section is filled with flattened beads about the same size as the diamonds, and this detail extends nearly the rest of the way around the band. The beads were added to give the illusion of a full eternity design without having to use the full number of diamonds, and they match a similar feature on the women’s engagement ring that’s also included in the set.
Band Design
The band itself is 6mm wide, which was as wide as the clients wanted to go. The diamonds and beading inhabit a strip right in the middle, and the surface on either side is brushed to create a nice satin finish. Beyond these sections, polished rails measuring 0.75mm sit slightly below the surface of the main band, providing a nice contrast in terms of texture. The clients initially asked for the rails to be in the same plane as the center, but after seeing what this would look like in CAD, they decided to go with the split levels for a more classic look. A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
