Description
This elegant men’s wedding ring features an organic mountain and tree motif that continues all the way around the band. It was created for a couple from Bellevue, WA, and we made a women’s wedding ring for them at the same time. The clients came to us with the specific idea that they wanted the Cascade mountains depicted on the men’s ring, and we worked back and forth with them to create just the right combination of images to produce exactly the look they were after. Mountain Design
The main feature of this ring is the engraved pattern, which depicts mountains and trees, and continues all the way around the band without repeating. The engraving is accented by the addition of black antiquing that stands out in contrast to the champagne tones of the unplated white gold band. The specific outline of the image was created by compiling details from several images the clients shared with our team, and they were very happy with the way it came out.
Integrating the mountains into this piece brought great personal significance to the design for the clients, and it’s one element you may consider customizing as you begin outlining your own unique piece. Customization Options
Other than adjusting the engraved pattern on this ring, there are quite a few elements you can customize to make it a better match to your personal style. For instance, you may want to do without the antiquing on the engraved section, or you might want to switch to a polished finish above the mountains rather than the brushed that’s found on this piece. Hand Engraving
Widening or narrowing the band is an option as well, as this ring is 8mm wide. A comfortable width for you may be more or less than this, and a change in that dimension would impact the amount of space available for engraving as well. Using a different metal is another option to consider, or you may even want to integrate a small gemstone on either the inside or outside of the band as an extra personal touch.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
