Flush Set Diamonds
There are 26 diamonds in this ring, and they combine to total 0.50 carats. They’re all princess cut and flush set, running in a line all the way around the center section of the band. The spacing and relative size of the diamonds allows them to bring a lovely sparkle to the piece without overpowering other design elements, and they add a layer of texture to the piece as well.
Band Design and Contrasting Finishes
The center section of the band where the diamonds are set is separated from the rails on either side by two parallel grooves that run all the way around the band. These are polished, as are the rails, but the center section is brushed to create a soft matte texture. This contrasts nicely with the sparkle of the diamonds, as well as the high shine on the rails, and it gives the band design more definition without being flashy. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
The band overall is 8mm wide, and this is something you may think about adjusting if you’d like to customize this piece. The average range for a men’s wedding band is 6mm to 9mm, but options outside of that range exist as well, and it really just depends on what you’re most comfortable with.
Other elements you may want to consider changing during the customization process include the combination of finishes used, the type and shape of gemstones in the ring, and the kind of metal used. You may even want to go with a two-tone design featuring a platinum center section and yellow gold rails, or some similar combination.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
