Custom Hand Engraving and Milgrain
The top of this band is covered with a flowing scroll-style pattern of custom hand engraving that integrates organic overtones. The fronts of the ring hold a complementary pattern that was modified to fit in the much narrower space available, and both sections are framed with lines of milgrain beading to enhance the vintage look. The hand engraving and the milgrain are added by hand at the end of the production process, which allows them to be customized in any number of ways to better represent your personal tastes. Flush Set Diamond
A round blue diamond is flush set on the inner surface of the ring, serving as an extra personal touch that only the wearer and his partner are aware of. The choice of the gemstone to include here is open for customization as well, and the choice you make may reflect your partner’s birthstone, the type of gemstones used in their ring, or another significant detail in your life and relationship. Band Design and Customization Options
The band is 8.5mm wide and made of palladium. This is at the high end of the average range when it comes to the width of a men’s wedding ring, and you may want to widen or narrow it depending on what’s most comfortable for you. The width of the ring will also impact the amount of space available for the engraved design, and so this is something to take into account as well when you’re proceeding through the custom design process.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
