Diamonds and Sapphires
There are four diamonds in this ring, all of which are round and bezel set in 18k white gold. They combine to total 0.42 carats, and they’re evenly spaced around the band. They each span the groove that runs all the way around the middle of the top surface of the ring, extending significantly beyond it on either side but still leaving plenty of room between the margin of their setting and the edge of the band. On each ring front, six round blue sapphires are flush set at regular intervals, with two lining up with diamonds on the top surface and the rest staggered in between. The 12 sapphires in the ring combine to total 0.07 carats, but the rich blue of the stones sands out dramatically next to the silvery shine of the surrounding metal.
Band Design and Contrasting Finishes
Another contrast relationship that contributes significantly to the overall design involves the use of both polished and brushed finishes on various parts of the ring. The main top surface of the band is brushed, while the groove that runs all the way around the middle of that surface is polished to a high shine. A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
