Custom Men's Mokume Wedding Band
Item #100844Men's Wedding Band Description
Mokume Gane
The center portion of this ring contains a lovely mokume gane pattern formed by the forging together of 14k palladium white gold and sterling silver. The technique used to produce this type of piece was first developed in Japan centuries ago, and it takes great skill and extensive experience to master.
Fortunately, our artisans have both of these in abundance, allowing us to bring you beautiful pieces like this one. Because of the nature of the mokume forging process, no two rings made this way will ever be exactly alike, which means this is a great way to ensure your custom piece is truly unique. Unplated White Gold
The body of the band is made of unplated white gold, and its warm champagne color is reflected in the white gold portion of the mokume as well. The rails bordering the mokume section slope downward slightly, giving a softer edge to the piece, and the two sections of the top are separated by narrow grooves that frame the mokume band perfectly.
Custom Wedding Rings
The look of any mokume piece is dependent on the types of metals used and the way they’re combined. That means that even a ring as minimalist as this offers plenty of options for customization. And whether you have a clear idea about what you want or not, our experienced team will work closely with you throughout the custom design process until we’ve fully captured your vision. Details
To reduce color fading, avoid friction against any surface. Avoid wearing your mokume ring during exercise, construction work, gardening, or other abrasive activities. When owning a mokume gane ring with oxidization, avoid chlorine or other similar chemicals as they eat away the patina.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
