Band Design
This ring is made of 18k white gold, and it measures 6mm across, with a groove on each side separating the center section from the rails. Inside the grooves, reverse milgrain creates a delicate texture, and the entire piece features a high polish finish that helps emphasize the other features of the piece.
Finish and Metal Options
If you’re interested in customizing this ring, there are quite a few options to consider. For instance, you could go with contrasting finishes for the center section and rails to further differentiate them, or you could simply switch to a brushed finish for the entire ring, leaving only the grooves polished to help them really stand out.
Another option is to use a colored metal rather than the silvery white gold to give the ring a bit of classical flair. Yellow and rose gold are both good options in this regard, and their warmer tones really give the ring a different feel even if you keep all of the other design details the same.
Or if you’re looking to add a different type of personal touch to this piece, you could have a peek-a-boo gemstone flush set on the inside of the band. This allows you to work in something of significance, like your finacee’s birthstone or a particular type of gem that’s also used in her bridal set, while keeping it as a special secret only the two of you know about. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
