Men's Cutout Two-tone Wedding Band
Item #103865Men's Wedding Band Description
Two-tone Band Design
The outer layer of this ring is made of 14k white gold, and that's what dominates the ring fronts as well. However, the 14k yellow gold interior does peek through on the inner rim of each ring front, and it's also visible through the floral-inspired cutout pattern in the white gold outer layer. The same pattern is cut out of the yellow gold layer as well, and the two layers are slightly offset to add another element of intricacy to the piece. Men’s Wedding Bands
Contrasting Finishes
To add to the contrast between the two sections of the ring, the outer white gold layer is brushed to create a matte finish, while the yellow gold on the interior is polished to a high shine. This makes the yellow gold that shows through the cutouts in the white gold that much more noticeable, even giving the impression that it's glowing faintly from within. Men’s Wedding Bands Seattle
Customization Options
Customizing this piece could involve choosing a different pattern to have carved into each band, or you may decide you'd like to switch the order of the layers to have the yellow gold outside and the white gold inside. Alternately, you could go with all one type of metal for a more subtle layered look, or you may want to have the outside of your ring polished instead of brushed.
Another element to consider when designing your own wedding band is how wide you would like the ring to be. This piece is 8mm across, which is right in the middle of the average range for a men's band. If you already know you prefer a thinner or thicker band, we can adjust our digital models to show you what that would look like, but it's also a good idea to stop by and try on some bands of different widths to see what feels the most comfortable for you. 100% Satisfaction

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
