Band Design and Contrasting Finishes
This ring is 7mm wide and made of 14k white gold. It consists of a center section that sits up slightly above the level of the rails on either side and that center section is also scratched to create an organic-style matte surface.
That scratched finish contrasts subtly with the high polish applied to the rails on either side, and this helps provide added definition to the separation between these two sections. The rails and center are also separated by pairs of grooves that run along the center on either side. These are shallow, but they bring a gentle intricacy to the design that adds significantly to the overall look and feel of the piece. Men’s Wedding Bands
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this piece, you may want to start by switching to a different type of metal. Rose or yellow gold are both excellent options in this regard, and each would bring with it a burst of classical warmth. The combination of finishes used is something you can play with as well, and you might also want to think about working in a flush set gemstone, either on the top or tucked along the inside of the band.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
