Platinum And 14K Gold Custom Hand Engraved Two-tone Diamond Men's Band
Item #104095 $7,955Men's Wedding Band Description
Based on the information the clients provided us with at our initial meeting, we developed some digital models for them in CAD of the piece we proposed to make. They asked to see a slightly altered version in order to compare the two, and once they’d evaluated their options, they gave us their official approval to move their chosen version into production. Two-tone Band Design
This ring is made from 14k white gold, and an inlay of 14k yellow gold runs all the way around the middle section of the band. This leaves narrow white gold rails to frame the yellow gold on either side, providing a nice contrast in terms of color and design.
The two-tone look is a popular one, and you can play with the various possible combinations yourself as you move through the custom design process. For instance, you may prefer a yellow gold ring with a white gold inlay, or you may choose to go with rose gold instead of white. A subtler contrast can be achieved by using white gold for one section and unplated white gold for the other, and our experts can show you examples of all of these combinations, so you can be confident you’re making the right decision to get the look you’re after.
Hand Engraving and Diamond Accents
The yellow gold section is hand-engraved using a technique known as relief engraving in which the desired pattern is left raised while the background is carved away. The pattern in this particular case is reminiscent of curling vines that wrap all the way around the ring, and that effect is reinforced by the small, round diamonds that are flush set within the engraved pattern at regular intervals to represent flowers. The pattern is further highlighted by the use of contrasting finishes, with the raised portions of the engraving polished and the background sandblasted. Hand Engraving

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
