Platinum And 14K Gold Custom Two-tone Diamond Men's Band
Item #102593 $12,405Men's Wedding Band Description
After our initial consultation, the client posted some images of what he had in mind, including an example of the pattern he wanted to use and the combination of metals. We took all of this information and synthesized it to create a CAD model, and he requested some slight modifications before approving it to move into production. Design Your Own Wedding Ring
Circuit Board Pattern
The main feature of this custom ring is a series of cutout lines, some of which have rounded ends. These are arranged to look like a circuit board, which was exactly what the client wanted. In addition, three of the rounded ends contain flush set round diamonds, providing the perfect amount of sparkle without overshadowing the other elements of the design.
Two-tone Band
The two-tone look was something the client definitely knew he wanted, but he also couldn’t have the rose gold portion come into contact with his skin. We took care of that by making the ring from three layers, beginning with a platinum interior. On top of that, we placed a thin layer of rose gold, and finally, the outer platinum layer.
This last layer had the circuit board pattern cut out of it to allow the rose gold to show through from below. Our initial CAD model had the grooves going all the way to the edge of the band, but the client requested that we bring them in a bit, as he was worried the small corners could snag on things. We shared his concerns and quickly implemented changes to accommodate his request.
Contrasting Finishes
To further separate the two visible sections of the ring, we used a brushed finish on the top platinum portion, while the rose gold is polished along with the fronts and interior of the band. This really helps the rose gold section pop out in contrast to the matte surface of the platinum, and it intensifies the sparkle of the diamonds as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
