Platinum And 14k White Gold Custom Men's Two-tone Hammered Finish Wedding Band
Item #100641 $6,091Men's Wedding Band Description
Two-tone Band
The contrast between the yellow gold inlay and the silvery platinum rails is the main feature in this ring. It gives the piece an understated complexity while keeping the overall style leaning towards the classical. Additionally, the two sections are separated by a narrow groove, and this works to clearly define each of their borders. Design Your Own Wedding Ring
Contrasting Finishes
The yellow gold portion of this ring is also textured subtly by the combination of hammered and sandblasted finishes. These combine to create an organic pattern on the surface and a nice matte effect. It also contrasts nicely with the high polish found on the platinum rails, providing an additional element separating the two areas of the ring.
This is far from the only option when it comes to finishes, however, and our team can help you explore the other possibilities. These include using a brushed instead of a sandblasted finish on the yellow gold, as well as polishing the entire piece for a more contemporary look.
Custom Design Process
No matter what style you’re going for, our custom design process is set up to ensure you come away with exactly that. We begin by learning as much as we can about your feature and style preferences, and we’ll show you example pieces as well if you aren’t sure exactly what you’re after.
This process can begin in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom, or it can begin online, either via direct messaging or through the Ring Builder feature on our website. Once we know more about the kind of rings you like, we can develop our own unique design for you, and we’ll share the high-quality CAD images of this with you through the online workroom we set up to handle your project.
At this point, you can provide any feedback you have on this initial design, and you can request as many modifications to it as are necessary until you’re completely satisfied that we’ve truly captured your vision. Only then will we turn things over to our expert artisans to begin production.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
