Rose Gold Filigree
The outer portion of this ring is made of 18k rose gold with a brushed finish. It has an intricate cutout pattern running all the way around, helping to bring some lovely vintage flair to the piece. Because a feature like this is completed by hand by our expert artisans, it can be customized to a great degree to reflect something of personal significance to you.
Two-tone Band
The cutout spaces in this ring also serve another purpose, as they allow the 18k white gold inner band to show through. This two-tone look makes the pattern stand out, and it also adds some subtle complexity to the design.
As a final touch, the inner white gold band is polished, which helps it really shine through the cutouts in the rose gold above. This type of contrasting finishes helps subtly emphasize the separation of the sections, and it’s also something you can adjust when personalizing your own piece.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
