Description

This stylish men’s wedding ring features a two-tone band with contrasting finishes and a groove running all the way around the band to separate the rail from the main section. It was created for a client from Victoria, BC, and thanks to the nature of our custom design process, we were able to produce exactly what he wanted to mark this special milestone in his life and relationship.

Two-tone Band

This ring is primarily made of 14k yellow gold, and the warm color that brings to the piece helps produce a bit of a classical flair. Contrasting nicely with this is the polished white gold rail, which runs all the way around on one side and is separated from the main band by a narrow but definite groove.

The two-tone look is becoming increasingly popular, as it is a good way to work some color into your ring without using gemstones. This is especially relevant for men’s rings, as they often wouldn’t include gemstones to begin with. A two-tone look also makes it easier to accessorize, since a ring like this can go well with a wider variety of clothing and other jewelry.

Contrasting Finishes

Contrasting finishes were also used on this ring to further emphasize the difference between the two sections. The yellow gold features a brushed finish, while the white gold rail is polished, and while subtle, the different textures this produces gives this minimalist design another layer of complexity.

Personalization Options

Whether you like this ring or have a completely different idea about what you want your wedding band to look like, we can help you put your personal touch on any piece. There are many ways to include details of personal significance to you, and even if you’re not sure exactly how you want to go about it, our experts will provide suggestions and guidance as you work through the custom design process.

For example, if you wanted to customize this design, you could include some hand engraving along the rail in a pattern that holds some significance for you. Or you could have your fiancee’s birthstone flush set on the inside of the band to create a special link that only the two of you know about.

And there are many other possibilities, including using different metals, different finishes, and even working a diamond or other gem into the top of the ring. No matter what you choose, our team has the skills and experience to make your vision a reality, and we can complete custom orders 100% online, or you can come visit us in our Bellevue, WA showroom to get the process started.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
