Platinum Custom Antiqued Diamond Men's Wedding Band
Item #102759 $7,202Men's Wedding Band Description
There were several elements of this piece that the client wanted to make sure were executed exactly right. The raised X shapes framing the antiqued sections were an important detail, and the way the diamonds were set was another. While the overall outline of the ring did not change much during the process of revisions, the client did request several tweaks that ensured the piece we produced was exactly what he wanted in every way.
Bezel Set Diamonds
There are six diamonds in this ring, and each is bezel set in white gold in the center of a diamond-shaped section of black antiquing which is framed by the pattern of Xs. This contrast really helps the diamonds stand out, and the bezel setting creates a ring of silver around the stones that works perfectly with he raised white gold portions that make up the other main feature of the ring.
Black Antiquing
The client initially wanted the black antiquing on the flat surface of the ring, with the X shapes recessed. Unfortunately, having the antiquing in an area that was not recessed would have caused it to wear off quite quickly. The only reasonable way to include the antiquing was to protect it from the rigors of daily wear, and so he decided to go with the arrangement seen here.
Matching Wedding Sets
The X shapes seen in this ring are mirrored in the engagement ring that we made for this couple simultaneously with this piece. The use of a shared feature like this makes for wonderful symbolism and a very special link. And even if you do not know exactly how you would like to connect the various pieces in your wedding set, our team will share examples and review your options with you until we find the perfect combination. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
