Snake Scale Pattern

The defining feature of this ring is the uneven texture created by the overlapping snake scale pattern that continues all the way around the band. The scales each come to a point between the two in the next row, and this offset arrangement allows them to express both a symmetry and an organic aesthetic at the same time.

Blue Sapphire Accents

One diagonal row of scales holds groups of bright cut set blue sapphire accents that are arranged in a line down the inner section of the scale. There are three sapphires in each of the three scales in the row, for a total of 9 sapphires in the piece. These stones combined weigh 0.12 carats, and their striking color contrasts wonderfully with the surrounding 14k white gold, helping them to stand out despite their small size.
