Platinum Custom Square Men's Band
Item #103497 $7,182Men's Wedding Band Description
Band Design
This band is softly squared, with thicker areas where the rounded corners emerge. It’s made of 18k yellow gold, and it’s 6.75mm wide. The client came to us with an inspiration piece that he liked the shape of, and so we based his design on that. The inspiration piece also had small, round diamonds flush set in the corners on both ring fronts, which he initially thought he would keep also, but after giving it some thought, he decided to remove these as well.
The width of the ring was another element the client put some thought into. He knew he wanted something in the 7mm to 8mm range, but he wanted to try some different options on in person before making a final decision. He also wanted to compare the color of 14k yellow gold to 18k yellow gold, and he was able to accomplish both of these on his visits to our showroom. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Contrasting Finishes
The top of the band is brushed to create a satiny matte surface. This contrasts nicely with the high polish on the fronts of the ring, and that contrast helps to highlight the clean lines of the design as well. The specific combination of finishes was another area that the client put a lot of thought into, reviewing several different options before ultimately settling on this one.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
