Custom Diamond Pendant

Pendant Description

This stunning pendant features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set in platinum with lovely hand-made filigree completing the basket. It was created for a client from Sammamish, WA, who came into our Bellevue showroom to commission several custom pieces at the same time. In addition to this pendant, we also made her a diamond ring and earrings, and she was very happy with the way that all of the pieces turned out. Design Your Own Jewelry

Diamond Center

The diamond in the center of this design is 2.01 carats. It is prong set in platinum, and the way the prongs curve up from the bottom following the contours of the diamond help keep only a minimal amount of metal visible when the piece is viewed straight on from the front. This arrangement ensures that the diamond is always the focus, and the openness of the setting lets its beauty shine through from all sides.

Basket Filigree

The basket surrounding the back of the diamond is formed by curling scroll filigree that adds just a hint of elegance and organic charm to this piece. The whimsical curves are the perfect counterpoint to the large, brilliant diamond it protects, and they add just a touch of classical flair. The entire basket and setting are made of platinum, which brings its impressive strength and durability to the task of protecting and displaying this stunning diamond.
