Description
This elegant pendant features a round brilliant cut diamond in a bezel setting, accented with pave set diamonds on the sides of the pendant. She visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to begin the custom design process, and once we had a good idea of what she had in mind, we created CAD renderings of her piece as we proposed to build it. She was very happy with the design we laid out, and she quickly gave her approval for us to turn her project over to our expert artisans to begin production.
Center Diamond
At the center of this piece, a 2.08 carat round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set. The setting frames the stone beautifully, and it also keeps the diamond well protected from the hazards of every day wear and tear. The client provided this stone, and we built her piece around it, always working to incorporate details that would highlight the diamond’s natural beauty in the process.
Diamond Accents and Pendant Design
The sides of the pendant hold two rows of small, round pave set diamond accents, and these stones were provided by the client as well. There are 64 accent diamonds in all, and the pave setting used helps give the piece a decidedly glamorous flair while their placement keeps them from overshadowing the stunning diamond in the center.
Two small rings of metal extend up from the base of the pendant at the 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock positions, and this is where the chain attaches to the piece. This placement and attachment type helps keep the pendant centered and forward-facing at all times, and it gives the piece a nice balance as well.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
