Our team can work with you in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom, or we can conduct an entire custom design project online through the workroom we set up for each project we take on. In this way, we can share CAD models of your piece with you, and you can request as many adjustments as you’d like. We can also grow a wax of the design for you to inspect in person, and we won’t begin production until you’re completely sure we’ve truly captured your vision.
Half Bezel Setting
The 0.27 carat round brilliant cut diamond that is the focus of this piece is displayed beautifully in a half bezel setting that wraps around two sides of it. The setting leaves the top and bottom open, however, to allow plenty of light to reach the stone. This has the effect of framing the diamond nicely and highlighting its perfect shape.
The bezel setting also serves to connect the pendant to the chain, with loops coming off of the top corner on each side. This arrangement keeps the diamond centered as well, since the chain doesn’t pass through, and the two sides of the chain don’t connect to each other.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
