Description
This pendant brings together two shades of blue topaz in a playful, asymmetrical composition. A marquise-shaped London Blue Topaz is set at an angle near the top, while a larger Sky Blue Topaz sits below in a compass-style four claw prong setting. Together, the two gemstones total approximately 2.37 carats, with their contrasting blue tones giving the pendant depth and a more expressive look.
Read the full description
A small round diamond of approximately .03 carats separates the two stones, adding just a hint of brightness between the deeper London blue and the lighter, more open tone of the Sky Blue Topaz. The angled marquise keeps the design from feeling too symmetrical, while the compass-set lower stone gives the pendant a clean, contemporary finish.
As blue topaz is a December birthstone, this pendant can make a thoughtful birthday gift for someone born that month. It also works simply as an everyday piece for anyone who enjoys colored gemstones and wants to introduce a pop of blue into their jewelry collection.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
