Aquamarine Center
In the center of this piece, a cushion cut aquamarine that measures 6mm by 6mm is prong set in 14k white gold. It’s oriented so that its rounded corners sit at the compass positions, and those spots are where the prongs meet the stone as well. This positioning is what guides the shape of the body of the pendant as well, and it gives the piece overall a vaguely star-like quality. Pendants
Pendant Design and Diamond Accents
The outer ring of the pendant, as well as the bale that connects the pendant to the chain, is made up of numerous paisley-style shapes, each of which is defined by milgrain accents running along its outer margin. These shapes, which are also reminiscent of teardrops or flower petals, give the design a hint of classical flair as well as some organic overtones, and they’re all filled with round accent diamonds arranged to fit in the space available.
The 54 accent diamonds in this piece combine to total 0.17 carats, and the brilliant white sparkle they bring to the design adds some glamorous flair while also helping to highlight the delicate blue color of the larger aquamarine in the center.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
