To begin the process, you can reach out to our team online, or you can visit our Bellevue, WA showroom in person. We’ll work through your ideas with you, making suggestions and showing you sample pieces until you’re comfortable with the outline of the piece you’d like us to produce. We’ll then proceed to the CAD phase of the project, and we won’t begin casting anything in metal until you’ve given your final approval to these digital models. Design Your Own Pendant
Blue Topaz Center
The main body of this pendant is made up almost entirely of a 1.41 carat round blue topaz in a martini prong setting. The three prongs are evenly spaced around the stone, with one at the top right in front of where the bale attaches to the pendant body and two on either side of the bottom half of the stone.
This adds a star-like dynamic to the design, with the triangular outline of the prong arrangement juxtaposed over the perfect circle of the stone. For added effect, the checkerboard cut of this topaz produces a faceted top surface with alternating sections of light and dark that shift as the pendant is viewed from different angles.
Pendant Design and Customization Options
A simple ring of metal connects the pendant to the bale, which is a slender, tapered piece. The subtle design of the bale complements the large, blue stone below while not taking anything away from it visually.
Customizing a design like this could include choosing a different shape for the center stone, switching to another type of metal to introduce some classical warmth, or changing the kind of stone used all together. Our team will help you work through these and other options to ensure the piece you come away with is a perfect match for your personal style. 100% Satisfaction

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
