The 11 diamonds included in this design total 1.19 carats when taken together. They’re all round brilliant cut and shared prong set, which helps to minimize the amount of metal visible when the piece is viewed straight on from the front. The arrangement of the diamonds, with one in the center, four in the lower branch, and two in each of the other three branches, forms the shape of a cross.
Like the setting type used for the diamonds, the way the chain connects to this piece is also quite minimalist. It loops right through the metal framework behind the topmost diamond, and this allows the cross to move freely, while also not adding any other shapes that would take away from the main design features.
