You can begin the process of customization by reaching out through our website or by visiting our Bellevue, WA showroom in person. After learning as much as we can about your style and feature preferences, we’ll put together a CAD model of the piece as well propose to make it for you. You can view these proofs and provide any feedback you’d like, and we won’t begin production until you’re sure every detail is perfect. Design Your Own Pendant
Main Pendant
The two largest diamonds in this piece are a round brilliant cut that comes in at 0.43 carats and a marquise cut that weighs 0.21 carats. These two hang down from the chain, with the round diamond at the very bottom and the marquise serving as the connecting piece between that larger stone and the main chain above.
This arrangement, with the largest diamond at the bottom, brings a nice sense of balance to the piece, and the relationship between the shapes of the two stones adds another dimension to the design as well. Pendants
Diamond Accents
At the top, the marquise connects to a 0.11 carat princess cut diamond, which is rotated so that its corners sit at the compass positions. It’s from the sides of this stone that the two strands of the chain emerge and travel upward, with three round diamonds linked together just beyond the princess cut on either side. These are followed by sections of chain interspersed at regular intervals by a single round diamond, and this arrangement gives the piece a satisfying flow while still keeping the primary emphasis on the main grouping of diamonds in the center.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
