Description
This elegant pendant features two diamonds seemingly suspended in half bezel settings. It was created as a custom order for a client from Kirkland, WA, who wanted a special piece of jewelry to match the bridal set we were also creating for her. She worked extensively with our design team, both online and in our Bellevue, WA location, until we produced exactly the piece she was looking for.

Modified Bezel Settings
While the diamonds in this piece are what initially catches the eye, it’s the modified bezel setting that really allows their beauty to shine through. The minimalist design exposes as much of the diamonds as possible while still holding them securely in place and balancing everything perfectly to ensure the pendant hangs straight.
This combination makes for a lovely modern feel, but you could also adjust the setting or the configuration of the diamonds to generate a different aesthetic that’s more in line with your personal tastes. And you could include milgrain or other detailed metalwork to add a bit of vintage flair.
Stone Choice
Diamonds are very traditional stones for wedding-related jewelry, and this client wanted the pendant to match her bridal set. But if you’d like to transform this piece to put your own personal touch on it, you could substitute different gemstones for the diamonds included here.
One option could be to use your birthstone and that of your partner to represent the union you’re entering into together. Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
