Oval Emerald in Diamond Halo Style
This exquisitely designed piece infuses a floral look thanks to the drizzled diamonds around the emerald’s contour. This halo of diamond melees enhances the richly hued gemstone and brings out the beauty of its green color.
Halos are known to make center stones appear larger while adding more shine and glitter to it. In this pendant, the curves and bends of the oval halo flawlessly replicate the emerald’s periphery and maximize its size. The bail from which the pendant hangs is drizzled with with a flow of diamond melees and seems to blend in with the overall design.
Styling Tips
Emeralds go perfectly well with earth tone-colored outfits, neutrals, greens and red since it’s the complementary color to green on the color wheel. Brownish reds mostly enhance the emerald color. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
