To begin the custom design process, you can visit our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, or you can reach out to us online. We’ll take the information you share with us about your style and feature preferences and use that to develop a set of CAD proofs of the piece as we propose to make it.
You can provide feedback on these, as well as request revisions, and we’ll go through as many of these cycles as necessary to ensure you’re completely satisfied with what we’ve laid out. If you’d like to inspect a physical representation of your piece before giving final approval to move into production, we can grow a wax from our CAD design, and we’ll even ship it to you to inspect if you live too far away to visit our showroom to view it.
Pendant Design
The body of this pendant is in the shape of a thick ring, with the outer half of the top surface textured by custom hand engraving. The inner half, by contrast, is smooth and polished, and this juxtaposition of textures highlights the intricate detail of the engraving. Pendants
The ring maintains its thickness all the way around, and the only break in its continuity is in the middle on the bottom where the diamond sits. The chain passes directly through the back of the top of the ring as well, eliminating the need for a separate bale and keeping the clean circular lines of the piece intact.
Tension Set Diamond
At the very bottom of the pendant, a round brilliant cut diamond is tension set across the width of the ring, with a slight protrusion below the ring’s lower margin and a greater protrusion into the inner circle. The positioning of the diamond at the very bottom of the pendant allows it to act as an anchor, centering the piece and giving it a nice balance. The stone’s brilliant sparkle is intensified by the silvery metal surrounding it, and it also benefits from the openness of the setting on either side to show off its gorgeous sparkle from every angle.

After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
