White Akoya Pearls
The pearls used in this necklace are white Akoya pearls, and they range in diameter from 8.5mm in the middle of the strand down to 8mm on the sides. There are 50 of them all together. These types of pearls are harvested from Japanese Akoya oysters, and they’re often chosen for a piece like this due to their perfectly round shape and wonderful luster.
Discs and Diamond Accents
At the very center of the strand, a disc is inserted between the two largest pearls. Two more discs sit in the space between the pearls on either side of this mid-point, and all three discs are lined with bright cut set diamonds for some stunning sparkle and glamorous flair. Conflict Free Diamonds
The 60 diamonds in this piece are all round and bright cut set, and they combine to total 0.17 carats. Their relatively small size allows them to bring a burst of sparkle to the piece without overshadowing the elegant pearls on either side, and that effect is intensified by the shine of the metal they’re set in. 100% Satisfaction
Customization Options
If you’d like to customize this piece, there are several types of changes you can make to produce a different look while still keeping the framework of the design intact. For instance, you could use more or fewer pearls, or you could choose pearls of a different size to make a more delicate or more substantial strand.
You may also want to consider using rose or yellow gold for the discs holding the diamonds, as this would add some contrast and classical warmth to the piece. Additionally, you could change the size of the discs and of the diamonds used, or you could even substitute a different color of diamond or sapphire in place of the white diamonds used here.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
