Drilled Emerald Cut Diamond
The cable link chain centrally holds an emerald cut diamond. The stone is painstakingly drilled and carefully held by two platinum rings from its upper corners. The dainty design of this necklace is so innovative and classy. It brings together the elegant and daring. This combination gives a bold character to the pendant and its wearer. The white hues of the platinum rings and diamond gracefully blend together. The stone seems to hover and float by itself as there is no accompanying setting to interfere with its beauty and shine.
The diamond is 100% exposed yet securely held to the chain. You can see its dazzling splendor from different angles. It’s set to point east-west, with the stepped facets of the emerald cut being clearly shown thanks to the drilling technique used to minimize the metal use. The microscopic drill holes are achieved with extreme precision and high craftsmanship.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support

- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
