Diamonds and Milgrain
There are 20 diamonds in this ring, all of which are round and bright cut set. They extend in a line from about one-third of the way down one side, across the top, to the same spot on the other side of the band, and this precisely matches the placement of the diamonds in the companion engagement ring as well.
The diamonds are all lined with milgrain beading, which creates a nice framing effect and also adds to the vintage style of the ring overall. The milgrain doesn’t stop at the edge of the diamonds either, but continues down along the engraved sections as well, and this acts as a unifying feature, both for the various areas of this ring and for the set as a whole. Contoured Band and Custom Hand Engraving
The band is straight moving up the sides, and it begins to curve out right at the point where the diamond accents begin. This curvature is necessary to allow the wedding band to sit flush against the matching engagement ring, as the latter’s large center setting requires some accommodation.
The portion of the band below where the diamonds run, as well as the fronts of the ring nearly all the way around, are covered with a delicate wheat-style custom hand engraving. This matches the companion engagement ring, adding to the vintage aesthetic of the set, and it can be customized as well to include a symbol or pattern with special personal meaning for you.
